Deal Discovery: Browse and Request Intros

What this is

The Deal Marketplace connects verified developers raising capital with verified funders. Funders see live deals that fit their mandate and request intros. Developers publish raises and send teasers to funders. Only verified organisations take part, and an accepted intro opens a shared room in Pipeline.

Who this is for

Funders (investors, lenders and other capital providers) and developers. Your Organisation profile says which side you are on. A new organisation completes its profile and SolarQuant reviews it, usually within two working days.

Steps for funders: browse and request an intro

1. Go to Deal Marketplace Our mandate . Set what you invest (instruments, ticket size, return floors) and which projects (where, technology, stage, offtakers), then click Publish . Under Visibility , a public mandate lists you in the Funders directory so developers can send you teasers. A private mandate is used for matching only. 2. Open Matches . Live deals that fit your mandate are under New ; you can also see All , Saved and Passed , and sort by Best fit , Newest or Readiness . Each card shows equity IRR, project IRR, offtaker grade, readiness and fit. 3. Click Save to keep a deal, or Not a fit to move it to Passed (you can restore it later). 4. Open a teaser to see Why this matches . Names, the offtaker and exact numbers stay hidden until the developer accepts and both sides sign the NDA. 5. Click Request intro . Pick Which part of the raise? you are interested in, add an optional Message to the developer , then click Request intro . The developer sees who is asking and decides; you get a notification when they answer. 6. If a developer sends you a teaser, it shows A verified developer sent you this teaser . Click Accept (then Accept and go to NDA ) or Decline .

Steps for developers: raise and reach funders

1. Go to My raises and click New raise (or Start a raise ) for a screened project. Fill in the project, what you are raising, what funders see, readiness and documents, then Submit for review . 2. SolarQuant reviews the raise, usually within two working days. Once approved it is live and appears in the matches of funders whose mandates fit. 3. Open Funders to see verified funders and their public mandates, with what fits your raise and what misses. Once you have a live raise, click Send teaser to send your teaser with a short message. 4. When a funder requests an intro, answer it in Engagements with Accept and open the room or Decline .

After acceptance

Accepting opens a shared room in Pipeline Shared rooms , on the developer's deal, and gives the funder the deal in its own Pipeline. Both sides sign the NDA there to open the data room. Engagements lists your intros, and opening an accepted one takes you to its room. See Intro Rooms Explained and Open a shared room for the details.
