Who this is for
Team members with edit access. Viewers can see deals but not add or move them.
Steps: add a deal
1. Go to Pipeline Deals and click New deal . 2. Optional: under Link a Financial Model project , pick a project. SolarQuant fills in size, capex, country and COD, and ticks checklist items the model, Payment Risk and offers confirm. A project can only have one deal. 3. Enter the Deal name , for example Kano Textile Mill. 4. Pick the Deal type if your workspace has more than one: C&I, Utility-scale, Investor, Lender, C&I investor and co-developer, or Utility-scale co-investor. The dialog lists the stages of the type you pick. 5. Fill in what you know: Solar (MWp) , Battery (MWh) , Capex (USD) or Ticket (USD) and Instrument , the offtaker or developer, Country , Owner and Expected COD . 6. Click Add deal . The deal starts at the first stage with that stage's checklist, and opens.
The board and the table
On Deals , switch between Board and Table . Each deal type has its own tab. Filter by owner, country or phase, or search by deal or offtaker. Closed deals (Lost, On hold, Declined) are folded into the Closed chip. In the table you can sort and show or hide columns. Click Export to download the deals as a CSV file.
Steps: move a deal
1. On the deal page click Move to next stage , or open the ... menu ( More actions for this deal ) and choose Move to stage . On the board you can also drag a card to another column, or use Move to in the card menu. 2. Check the dialog. If required checklist items are still open, it lists them. Missing items never block you: they stay open with their owners and due dates. 3. Give a Reason when the dialog asks for one. A reason is required when required items are missing (the button then says Move anyway ) and whenever you move a deal to a closed stage such as Lost, On hold or Declined. 4. Click Move . The reason goes into Activity and is marked on the stage path.
Archive or delete a deal
Open the ... menu on the deal page.
- Archive deal : the deal leaves the board, totals and reports. Its checklist, documents and activity are kept. Archiving also closes the deal's open shared rooms, and the other side is told. - Delete deal : removes the deal with its checklist, documents, tasks and activity, and cannot be undone. Only the person who created the deal, or someone allowed to delete shared items, sees it. A deal that has shared rooms with other organisations cannot be deleted, only archived, so the other side keeps the room history.
